Job summary

Global Industrial is seeking a Technical Accounting Analyst to support complex lease accounting, ASC 606 revenue recognition, and related policy governance. You will drive data updates, journal entries, and controls in a fast-paced environment.

The role partners with Real Estate, SEC Reporting, Internal Audit, and external auditors to ensure accurate reporting and strong internal controls in accordance with US GAAP.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field.
• 2+ years of accounting experience.
• Understanding of financial statements and GAAP concepts.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel (formulas, pivots).
• Strong attention to detail and analytical problem-solving.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with subsidiaries and Real Estate to update lease accounting data in CoStar.
• Prepare monthly lease accounting journal entries.
• Perform monthly and quarterly lease accounting controls.
• Support ASC 606 revenue recognition governance and related policy guidance.
• Assist in quarterly and annual financial reporting and audit requests.
