Job summary

CDW is seeking a Project Manager to act as a trusted consultant across technology stacks and services. You will manage low to medium complexity projects, balancing scope, schedule, and budget while leveraging CDW PMO templates to drive business outcomes for customers.

You will work with CDW engineers, sales, cross-functional teams, customer staff, and third-party consultants to deliver value and build lasting partnerships.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree and 4 years of project management experience OR 8 years of PM/CDW Services experience.
• Two or more years of experience leading small to medium projects in a professional services organization.
• PM or agile consulting experience advising clients on delivery best practices across multiple technology stacks.
• Willingness to travel up to 25% and manage client engagements remotely when required.

Responsibilities

• Understand client end goals and provide consultative project delivery aligned to strategy.
• Act as trusted consultant to project team regarding CDW processes and best practices.
• Build stakeholder relationships and manage expectations throughout the project lifecycle.
• Negotiate changes to meet stakeholder satisfaction and drive project outcomes.
• Gather information, document impacts, and communicate with team and client.
• Independently manage medium to large projects with cross-functional teams.
• Track budgets, resources, and actuals; report financials to stakeholders.
• Ensure timely tracking of time, expenses, and invoices against the project.
• Define scope, determine need for SOW vs Change Order, identify new opportunities.
• Deliver all SOW items with quality assurance and proper documentation.
