Job summary

Lennar is seeking a Principal Software Engineer to lead end‑to‑end software design and delivery across the organization. You will mentor engineers, define the technical roadmap, and partner with product managers to drive scalable, cloud‑native solutions.

You will guide architecture choices, champion CI/CD and DevOps practices, and collaborate with cross‑functional teams to align technology with business goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field.
• At least 10 years of full‑stack software development experience with leadership.
• Experience in a principal or senior technical leadership role guiding architecture and mentoring engineering teams.

Responsibilities

• Technical Leadership: Lead design and implementation of full‑stack solutions, ensure quality, scalability, and performance.
• Full‑Stack Development: Design, develop and maintain front‑end and back‑end components with modern frameworks.
• System Architecture: Define and document architecture, evaluate cloud-native solutions, align with business goals.
• Mentoring and Team Development: Mentor engineers, set high standards for code quality and testing.
• Collaboration and Stakeholder Engagement: Align technical solutions with business objectives and communicate progress to stakeholders.
• Innovation and Continuous Improvement: Drive new technologies and pilot projects to improve software delivery.
• Performance Optimization: Identify bottlenecks and implement monitoring and reliable systems.
