Fairpointe Planning is seeking a TDM Planner based in the Nashville, TN or Atlanta, GA metropolitan area. Atlanta-based staff will work from home, and Nashville-based staff will work from our Nashville office.

The role focuses on developing and implementing strategies to shift trips away from driving alone, including commuter programs, parking management, shared mobility, telework, and incentives, with measurement of results for clients and funders.

Formación

• The ideal candidate has at least three years of professional experience in TDM, commuter services, transportation planning, or mobility program management with a consulting firm, TMA, transit agency, MPO, state DOT, or local government.
• A working knowledge of CMAQ program requirements and the federal metropolitan planning process is essential.
• Experience in the Nashville or Atlanta region is a strong plus, including work with regional partners.

Responsabilidades

• Lead or support TDM plans, programs, and policies for agencies, TMAs, CDIs, employers, and developers by assessing travel patterns and parking conditions.
• Design and administer commuter surveys, employer outreach, and trip reduction programs.
• Develop TDM ordinances and site-level plans, and support monitoring and compliance.
• Analyze survey data, mode share, and VMT to measure results and report to clients and funders.
• Build partnerships with employers, TMAs, transit agencies, MPOs, local governments, and state DOTs.
