Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting/finance or related field required.
• CPA, EA, or law license required.
• 8+ years of progressive tax experience in public accounting.
• Experience with Partnership, Corporation, and individual shareholder/partner tax matters.
• Proven leadership and business development abilities.

Responsibilities

• Serve as strategic advisor to clients in Professional Services, delivering tax planning and compliance for partnerships, corporations, and individuals.
• Address complex tax issues and provide innovative solutions while ensuring compliance with tax laws.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships and deliver exceptional service.
• Lead market-facing initiatives to grow the practice area and expand client relationships.
• Develop and execute strategic business plans to increase firm visibility and revenue.
• Represent the firm at industry events to attract potential clients and enhance the brand.
• Mentor and develop a high-performing tax team with a culture of learning and growth.
• Provide guidance and training on technical tax matters, client communication, and BD strategies.
• Lead performance reviews and career development discussions.
• Stay current with changes in tax laws, regulations, and industry trends.
• Oversee complex tax compliance engagements and memos, ensuring accuracy and insight.
