Job summary

KPMG is currently seeking a Senior Associate to join our Business Tax Services practice in Los Angeles, CA. You will provide tax compliance and advisory services to corporations and partnerships on a range of client engagements.

In this role you will participate in ASC 740 calculations, manage tax projects, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high quality tax solutions for Fortune 100 and emerging businesses.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years of corporate tax experience in an accounting firm, corporation or law firm.
• Experience with ASC 740 and tax provisions.
• Strong advisory and compliance skills with clear communication.
• Ability to manage multiple client engagements and teams.

Responsibilities

• Provide tax compliance and advisory services to corporations and partnerships for a variety of clients.
• Participate with accounting for income taxes (ASC 740) and tax provision calculations.
• Work as part of a multi-disciplinary team to provide industry knowledge and experience.
• Manage teams of tax professionals and assistants on client projects.
• Advise clients and deliver high-quality tax service and advice.
• Participate in and contribute to market and business activities external to the firm; build and manage client relationships.
