Job summary

Distinct | North America's Irving, TX office is seeking a Tax Manager to join a hybrid work environment. You will lead federal and state tax engagements and own the delivery quality while serving high net worth individuals and privately owned businesses year-round.

You'll work directly with Partners, spot planning opportunities, and guide junior staff. CPA or EA is preferred, with strong public accounting experience and solid technical tax judgment.

Qualifications

• Strong public accounting experience with solid technical tax judgment.
• Ability to manage client relationships with high net worth individuals and business owners.
• Willingness to lead, mentor staff and collaborate with Partners.

Responsibilities

• Leading federal and state tax engagements and owning the quality of delivery.
• Managing relationships with high net worth individuals and business owners year round.
• Spotting planning opportunities and explaining complex tax matters for each client.
• Working with Partners on client strategy and wider advisory needs.
• Reviewing and developing junior staff.
