Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 2 years accounting experience.
• Minimum of 1 year business tax/entity returns experience.
• Experience with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles).
• Proficiency with integrated online accounting applications and spreadsheets.

Responsibilities

• Prepare tax statements, financial statements, and BAS statements at required intervals.
• Create and return statements and documents to clients by set deadlines.
• Prepare business income tax returns and statements for audits.
• Manage tax administration tasks including research, return preparation, and planning.
• Identify opportunities to minimize tax liability through deductions and credits.
• Engage with clients and maintain strong relationships.
• Stay updated on federal/state tax laws and planning techniques.
• Assist with month-end, quarter-end, and year-end analysis of accounts.
