Brewer Morris is seeking a Tax Analyst to join its corporate tax team. The role focuses on tax compliance, planning initiatives, and driving improvements across a multi-state business.

You will support federal, state, and local filings, assist with the quarterly and annual tax provision, conduct tax research, and mentor junior staff while partnering with accounting, finance, and operations. This position also offers exposure to acquisitions and restructuring, with a focus on improving processes

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 2+ years of corporate tax experience in public accounting or industry.
• Strong knowledge of federal and multi-state tax compliance and accounting.
• Advanced Excel skills and experience with tax software.

Responsabilidades

• Support the preparation and review of federal, state, and local income tax filings while ensuring compliance with deadlines.
• Assist with the quarterly and annual tax provision process, including supporting schedules and documentation.
• Analyze legislative and regulatory tax developments and assess their impact on the tax strategy.
• Conduct technical tax research and prepare memoranda supporting conclusions and recommendations.
• Mentor and provide guidance to junior tax professionals, reviewing workpapers.
• Drive process enhancements to improve accuracy and scalability.
• Participate in special projects, acquisitions, restructuring, and other strategic tax matters.
