Job summary

Canopy Connect is seeking a mission-driven Talent Acquisition Specialist to own hiring end to end for Engineering, Sales, Customer Success, Operations, Marketing and more. You will source, screen, and close great candidates, shaping the team that builds Canopy.

The role starts as a 3-month independent contractor engagement with conversion to full-time if successful. Employee benefits begin at conversion and you will work remotely across the US and Canada.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience.
• Experience hiring technical and go-to-market roles.
• Startup experience preferred.
• Experience recruiting in US and Canada.

Responsibilities

• Own the full recruiting lifecycle from role brief to close.
• Build in-house pipelines via LinkedIn, referrals, and outbound channels.
• Collaborate on interview design, scorecards, and calibration.
• Run ATS, pipeline hygiene, reporting and offer workflows.
• Provide a great candidate experience and promote Canopy's culture.
