Job summary

FCC Environmental Services, LLC is seeking an experienced Talent Acquisition leader to transform recruiting into a strategic, consultative function. You will build and lead a high-performing team, partner with executives across the business to meet aggressive hiring goals, and ensure compliance with DOT regulations and local laws.

The role requires 10+ years in recruitment, 5+ years managing a team, and deep Workday expertise, with occasional travel up to 50%.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in recruitment or talent acquisition.
• 5+ years of successful experience directly managing a recruiting team.
• Expert level proficiency with Workday recruiting systems and platforms.
• Experience developing systems to support day-to-day recruiting operations.
• Experience leading recruiting teams in waste industry, waste to energy, or technical sectors.
• Ability to partner and influence in a global, matrix environment.
• Proven success building interviewing practices and delivering training.
• Ability to use data to drive strategy.
• Knowledge of recruitment laws and regulations.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and Workday ATS.
• Experience with DOT regulations and Clearinghouse.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• US citizen or legally authorized to work in the US.
• Strong understanding of DOT driver qualifications.

Responsibilities

• Support evolving recruiting into a strategic, consultative partner.
• Partner with leadership to drive efficiency and hiring goals.
• Build strategy to increase local hiring across markets for technical roles.
• Lead a high-performing recruiters team in a fast-paced environment.
• Collaborate to understand hiring needs and align delivery goals.
• Provide updates to HR leadership and hiring managers on targets.
• Stay current with recruiting trends and drive innovation.
• Foster continuous improvement, feedback, and growth.
• Provide leadership through process flows to drive consistent staffing practices.
• Develop team ability to source and screen candidates across roles.
• Manage relationships with Indeed, LinkedIn, and other platforms within budget.
• Occasionally travel up to 50% to support team development and events.
