Job summary

SEI in Pittsburgh, PA is seeking a Senior Talent Acquisition Partner to serve as a strategic talent advisor for engineers, researchers, and technologists committed to SEI’s national mission.

You’ll partner with leaders to design recruiting strategies, manage the full lifecycle from requisition to offer, and deliver a high-touch, high-integrity candidate experience.

This onsite role reports to the Director of Human Resources and may travel up to 10% domestically for events and meetings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in HR, business administration, or related field.
• 5+ years of progressive recruiting experience, including technical talent acquisition.
• Ability to quickly grasp complex technical roles and assess fit.
• Experience using Workday or ATS.
• Strong prioritization, discipline, and adaptability.
• Collaborative in cross-functional teams and stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a strategic recruiter and talent advisor to SEI’s leadership and technical teams.
• Manage the full recruitment lifecycle from requisition intake and job posting through candidate selection, offer negotiation, and pre-boarding.
• Partner with hiring leaders to develop recruiting strategies, hiring plans, and timelines for technical positions.
• Design and deploy targeted sourcing strategies using professional networks, academic partnerships, and innovative sourcing approaches.
• Deliver an exceptional candidate experience with proactive communication and transparency.
• Collaborate with teammates to challenge assumptions and develop thoughtful solutions.
• Champion process improvement by testing recruiting tools and optimizing workflows.
