Job summary

Thompson Gray Inc. is seeking a high-caliber Systems Engineer to support the G-TEAD effort stationed at Shaw AFB, Sumter County, SC.

The role combines systems engineering with program integration to evaluate and integrate emerging technologies for operational Army environments. The candidate will work across units, program offices, and industry partners to translate mission needs into coordinated acquisition outcomes, with a focus on technical feasibility, transition strategies, and leadership

Qualifications

Active Secret Clearance or higher preferred.
Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, Electrical/Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, or related STEM.
Minimum 10 years of combined experience in systems engineering and/or Army acquisition/program integration.
Experience with Army PEOs, acquisition programs, or operational commands.
Strong written and verbal communication with ability to brief senior leaders.
Proficiency with MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

Provide engineering expertise for evaluating and integrating emerging technologies into Army environments.
Collaborate with operational units, program offices, and industry partners to assess technical feasibility.
Support transitions of capabilities from S&T programs into fielded Army systems.
Conduct system-level trade studies and integration analyses for G-TEAD objectives.
Develop documentation including SE plans, interface control documents, and integration assessments.
Engage with industry to evaluate technologies relevant to G-TEAD mission areas.
Provide input to program reviews and acquisition milestone decisions.
Support integration plans and capability gap analyses.
Coordinate with Army stakeholders to track capability development progress.
Prepare briefs and technical documents for senior leadership decisions.
