Job summary

Fidelity Investments seeks a Principal Systems Analyst to analyze complex data-processing requirements and design scalable systems in an agile environment. You will gather requirements, craft user stories for APIs, data stores, and UIs, and lead analysis projects across teams in a matrix setup.

Responsibilities include interviewing users, defining scope, leading documentation, and coordinating testing and release readiness while mentoring junior analysts in the workflow and business processes.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or related field and five (5) years of experience as a Principal Systems Analyst administering SaaS tools (Jira/Jira Align), documenting requirements, and supporting Agile processes.
Or, with a Master’s degree and three (3) years of experience in the same areas.
Experience administering Jira, Jira Align, Confluence; defining requirements, testing APIs, and enabling release readiness in a regulated environment.

Responsibilities

Lead interviews with business users to gather requirements and analyze technology needs.
Develop recommendations addressing complex business needs and opportunities.
Define full project lifecycle plans and project scope for complex systems.
Coordinate documentation and quality across large programs.
Design new systems from requirements and validate with stakeholders.
Lead test strategy definition and coordinate user acceptance testing.
Communicate progress to management and manage stakeholder expectations.
