Job summary

Fidelity Investments in Massachusetts seeks a Principal System Analyst in Quantitative Research and Investments Technology to blend investment management with technical leadership and deliver on strategic priorities.

You will influence roadmaps, manage a product backlog, and guide the team through iterative delivery and experimentation, while mentoring colleagues and aligning with partners across Fidelity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in related field; CFA/CFP designation or post-graduate degree in finance a plus.
• 6+ years of proven experience in end-to-end technology solution delivery.
• Experience designing, developing, and maintaining dynamic products and solutions.
• Financial services experience preferred.
• Experience in Asset Management industry preferred.
• Take a data-focused approach to understanding customer needs and translate objectives into action.

Responsibilities

• Own the team's mission, strategy, and execution for strategic priorities.
• Partner with Fidelity leaders to influence roadmaps and resource needs.
• Plan and prioritize product backlog and ensure alignment with what/when work is performed.
• Enable iterative delivery, testing, and learning from failures; celebrate success.
• Develop your expertise and bring the latest thinking to the role.
• Collaborate with Technical Leads and Project Managers to set team capacity and enable growth.
• Make informed trade-offs balancing quality, cost, and timelines.
