Job summary

Acrisure, a global fintech leader, is seeking a Bond/Surety Specialist to act as the main client point of contact for bond inquiries and related documentation. You will maintain strong client and carrier relationships and coordinate with surety representatives to handle billing, forms, and execution.

The role requires 3–5 years of surety experience, NJ license or ability to obtain it, and proficiency with Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 3–5 years of surety experience.
• Brokerage and/or underwriter experience preferred.
• New Jersey Insurance License or ability to obtain one.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a primary point of contact for clients, responding to bond-related inquiries and requests, including contract documents, bond forms, rating questions, billing matters, and other surety needs.
• Establish and maintain strong relationships with clients and surety carrier representatives to support the ongoing administration of client bond programs.
• Coordinate with surety company representatives to manage transactional activities, including premium billings, rating issues, contract documents, bond forms, bid results, and bond execution.
• Prepare client-specific documentation, including Prequalification Letters, Affidavits, and Bond Authentication Forms.
• Process bond-related billing transactions and partner with the Accounting team to ensure accurate and timely invoicing.
• Maintain electronic client files and documentation within agency management systems, including SuretyWave and Applied Epic.
• Manage multiple priorities while ensuring accuracy and timely completion of work in a deadline-driven environment.
• Deliver exceptional customer service and support to both internal and external stakeholders.
• Pursue ongoing professional development to enhance industry knowledge and technical expertise.
