Job summary

Acrisure is looking for a Surety Account Manager in Uniondale, NY. You will assist clients with bond needs, interact with carriers, and handle billing and document administration.

The role requires defining bond requirements, preparing affidavits and prequalification letters, and ensuring accurate transaction processing. Ideal candidates have 3–5 years of surety experience, an NJ license or ability to obtain one, and strong MS Office skills.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Proficiency with MS Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel).
• 3-5 years of surety experience; brokerage experience is a plus.
• Insurance license for NJ or ability to obtain one upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Interact with clients to identify bond needs and respond to contract documents, forms, and billing questions.
• Coordinate with surety company representatives on billing, rating issues, and bond documents.
• Prepare client-specific documents such as Prequalification Letters, Affidavits, and Bond Authentication Forms.
• Process billing transactions for the Accounting Department.
• Maintain electronic file management in SuretyWave and Applied Epic.
• Pursue professional development as applicable.
