Job summary

Vishay in Dover, NH is seeking a Planning Coordinator to support the Planning team by managing supply planning, forecasting, and production scheduling across plants. You will analyze KPIs, balance loads, coordinate with suppliers, and prepare short-term production plans for efficient operations.

This role collaborates with the Planning staff to ensure timely procurement and production orders, driving efficiency improvements and aligned schedules across manufacturing resources.

Qualifications

• Experience in supply planning or production planning.
• Ability to analyze KPIs and detect deviations.
• Experience coordinating with suppliers and production facilities.

Responsibilities

• Managing or completing supply planning based on indicators (sales forecast, orders, production data).
• Analyzing, controlling and reporting on relevant KPI, detecting plan deviations, and deriving recommendations.
• Developing supplier forecasts and determining logistical processes with suppliers.
• Analyzing order plans and critical timelines, double-checking available materials, parts or products in stock.
• Executing load balancing calculations, and cooperating with other plants for optimized plans.
• Planning monthly or weekly production programs for assigned plant(s).
• Calculating and deploying short-term (day-to-day) production plans for assigned resources.
• Planning material, machine or personnel resources in support of Planning staff.
• Performing procurement orders, and preparing production or transportation orders per plans agreed.
• Preparing short-term resource plans, monitoring efficiency, and proposing short-term measures.
• Supporting the team in identifying deficiencies or improvement potential.
