Job summary

Johnson Controls is seeking a Materials Planner to coordinate daily SAP reviews, analyze shortages, and develop production schedules in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The role requires SAP/MRP experience, strong Excel skills, and cross-functional collaboration with Purchasing and manufacturing teams.

Candidates should have a HS Diploma or higher (BA/BS preferred) and 2–3 years in production planning. This on-site role offers a competitive salary and benefits package.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age and have a HS Diploma or equivalent; BA/BS degree or equivalent is preferred.
• APICS certification preferred.
• Minimum 2-3 years experience in production planning role.
• Experience with SAP or other MRP system.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily SAP system reviews and metric analysis to identify potential material shortages and adjust plans.
• Utilize capacity planning and SAP to develop schedules optimizing labor, materials, and machinery.
• Manage right-sizing of inventory for stable operations and expedite materials as needed.
• Coordinate with Purchasing to communicate material requirements and deliveries to meet production schedules.
