Strategic Supply Planner: Inventory & Launch Readiness

Job summary

UST seeks a Supply Planner to ensure continuity of supply for finished goods, WIP, raw materials, and packaging components. You will partner with manufacturing sites to develop capacity-feasible plans and monitor capacity, component availability, and service levels.

You will drive inventory strategies, support new product launches, and escalate issues that affect delivery. Travel up to 10% may be required; SAP APO experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in a related field (Supply Chain Management, Engineering or Logistics).
• Minimum of 2 years of professional business experience in planning, logistics, or related areas.
• Strong Excel proficiency (pivot tables, VLOOKUP) and data-driven decision making.

Responsibilities

• Scheduling / Plant Production - develop capacity-feasible supply plans and provide to manufacturing sites on a prescribed schedule.
• Capacity - long-term planning for strategic suppliers and participate in supplier capacity reviews.
• Inventory & Service - deploy inventory planning strategies to maintain and improve service levels and optimize inventory.
• New Products & Product Changes - participate in cross-functional teams to ensure planning milestones and launch targets are met; support Master Data in SAP/APO.
