Job summary

Amcor is seeking a skilled Supply Planner Specialist to manage mid-range capacity and inventory planning across North America plants. You will collaborate with Supply Planner Specialists to develop recommendations and action plans, analyzing inventory, production and forecasted demand for smooth operations with minimal disruption.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Operations Management, Supply Chain or related field with 4-6 years of relevant experience or 10+ years total in education/experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Lean Six Sigma Certification preferred.
• APICS or similar certification preferred.
• 3+ years experience with ERP SAP.
• Experience with integrated business planning software preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop rolling 0-12 week production plans to meet customer demand while accounting for downtime events, new assets, holiday closures and crewing changes.
• Administer replenishment programs to set production plan for the time horizon.
• Deliver the inventory plan for assigned facilities and manage inventories of finished, semi-finished, and raw materials.
• Identify and prioritize consumption of aged inventory.
• Provide data analysis and recommended solutions to stakeholders regarding capacity constraints and utilization.
• Drive inventory optimization to minimize inventories while meeting customer service requirements.
• Coordinate with plants to communicate expected capacity loading for proper staffing.
• Sequence cross-area operations to optimize capacity usage.
• Resolves plant-to-plant issues to maintain targeted loadings.
• Set and review target inventory levels.
• Lead process improvements within Supply Chain.
