Job summary

BlueLinx seeks a Supply Planner II to execute replenishment plans and optimize inventory levels. The role focuses on turning inventory efficiently and meeting service levels, with guidance from management and cross-functional teams.

The ideal candidate brings 2–5+ years of planning experience in a supply chain and strong data mining skills, plus familiarity with ERP and MS Office. This position emphasizes proactive planning and cost control in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• BS/BA degree in related field preferred; MS/MA/MBA a plus.
• 2-5+ years experience preferred with BS/BA; 2-4 years experience with MS/MA/MBA.
• APICS and/or ISM certification a plus.
• Strong data mining/query and database skills; proficiency with MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Execute daily, weekly and monthly replenishment plans for assigned product lines.
• Monitor inventory performance (turns) and service levels; adjust plans accordingly.
• Collaborate with Sales, Product Management and Logistics to optimize replenishment and minimize costs.
• Maintain system parameters for inventory replenishment and load building.
• Communicate variances to plan to manager, Sales and Product Management.
• Identify process improvements with suppliers and internal customers.
