Job summary

REI is seeking a Supply Planning Analyst to improve supply plan accuracy and flexibility by managing forecasting data and purchase orders, supporting the purchasing cycle and production coordination.

The role emphasizes collaboration with Product and Planning teams, data analysis, and proactive issue resolution to ensure on-time forecast completion and reliable supply chain performance.

Qualifications

• 4+ years related experience required.
• Experience with product inventory analysis and management for multiple stores.
• Proficient in MS Office including Excel; VBA coding; familiarity with Enovia, SAP, Sigma.
• Understanding merchandising math principles: markup, gross margin, markdowns, turnover.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Product and Planning teams to ensure current, accurate information.
• Summarize and present seasonal analysis to cross-functional teams and external partners.
• Contribute to the strategic direction and priorities of the Supply Operations team.
• Think critically and challenge upward strategically.
• Ensure accuracy for product and vendor data; monitor forecasts and discrepancies.
• Resolve purchase order and production minimums issues; manage PO changes.
• Monitor delivery issues and provide resolution options; track material liabilities.
• Leverage multiple data sources to provide insights into on-hand inventory and planning.
• Analyze operational statistics, reports, trends, variances and issues.
