Job summary

Sunrise Systems, Inc. in Grovetown, GA is seeking a Supply Management Planner for Commercial Products on a 12-month contract with possible extension. The role focuses on coordinating supplier delivery schedules, managing parts requests, and driving continuous improvement within the supply chain.

Qualifications

• Degree or equivalent in Business/Management, Engineering/Technology or Supply Management.
• Willing to relocate domestically.

• Understanding of Order Fulfillment process.
• Ability to gather and analyze data.

Responsibilities

• Communicate with suppliers daily regarding delivery schedules.
• Manage factory Hot Part Requests, Aged ASN’s, Goods Receipt Compliance Issues and supplier delinquency recovery plans.
• Work with the Supply Management Specialist to maintain supplier relationships and monitor performance; define corrective actions; may negotiate to resolve short-term problems.
• Drive continuous improvement in performance with the supply base using Achieving Excellence criteria.
• Resolve shipping and receiving problems to ensure prompt and accurate payments to suppliers.
• Gather and analyze data to ensure business objectives are met.
• Schedule and expedite delivery of purchased materials to support the production plan; recommend premium logistic options when appropriate.

Hours: To be in the office by 7am EST (6am-2:30pm or 7am-3:30pm). Does have opportunity to work overtime.

Education

A degree or equivalent related work experience in the following:

• Degree in a Business/Management, Engineering/Technology or Supply Management discipline or equivalent work experience

Your Responsibilities

As a Supply Management Planner for Commercial Products located in Grovetown, GA you will:

• Communicate with suppliers daily regarding delivery schedules.
• Manage factory Hot Part Requests, Aged ASN’s, Goods Receipt Compliance Issues and supplier delinquency recovery plans.
• Work with the Supply Management Specialist to maintain an ongoing relationship with assigned suppliers as well as monitor and improve supplier performance; measure the performance of the supplier and define corrective actions; may negotiate with suppliers to resolve short-term performance problems.
• Drive continuous improvement in terms of performance with the supply base, using Achieving Excellence process and criteria.
• Resolve shipping and receiving problems to ensure prompt and accurate payments to suppliers.
• Gather and analyze data to ensure business objectives are being met.
• Schedule and expedite the delivery of purchased materials to support the production plan, including recommending premium logistic alternatives when appropriate, while serving as a key resource for company and factory logistics teams, unit operations, and suppliers as questions, concerns, or issues arise regarding logistical processes.
