Job summary

BorgWarner Europe GmbH is seeking a Specialist Supply Chain (m/f/d) to manage operative procurement for Aftermarket products, supporting the supply chain with suppliers and product groups.

The role focuses on forecasting alignment, inventory management, SAP processes, and close collaboration with Sales, Customer Service and Logistics.

The ideal candidate has a university degree in SCM or Business Admin, 2–5 years' experience, fluent German and English, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Completed studies in Supply Chain Management or Business Administration with professional experience.
• 2–5 years of experience in material disposition.
• Proficient in SAP and MS Office.
• Very good language skills in German and English.
• Strong communication skills; able to work independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Analyzing the forecast, aligning it with Sales/Controlling and processing it to SAP.
• Being responsible for inventory management.
• Placing orders and delivery call-offs with SAP R/3, tracking and monitoring of in-time deliveries.
• Coordinating delivery dates and quantities with the suppliers and Customer Service Team.
• Analyzing and presenting processes (SAP, MS-Office).
• Controlling and maintaining master data including necessary documentation.
• Coordinating matters with the customs department as well as with transport companies.
• Keeping close contact to suppliers.
