Job summary

Sumitomo Biorational Company, based in Libertyville, IL, seeks a Supply Chain Planning Manager to lead end-to-end planning for tolling, AI materials, and inventory. You will drive IBP/S&OP inputs, optimize working capital, and partner with Procurement, Manufacturing, Finance, and Quality to ensure resilient supply and cost management.

You will oversee tolling planning, KPI governance, and a planning team, while supporting new product introductions and continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, operations, engineering, business or related field.
• APICS CPIM certification preferred; MBA considered an advantage.
• Experience in complex, multi-site manufacturing environments a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end tolling and materials planning aligned with demand forecasts.
• Develop short-, medium-, and long-term production schedules with external partners.
• Govern MRP parameters, lot sizes, lead times, and safety stocks to optimize inventory.
• Drive IBP/S&OP inputs, scenario planning, and risk mitigation with cross-functional teams.
• Manage inventory, working capital, and KPI tracking to meet service and cost goals.
• Coach and develop a planning team and lead continuous improvement initiatives.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in related field

APICS CPIM certification preferred

MBA or advanced degree a plus
