Job summary

Azbil North America Inc is seeking a Supply Chain Manager to lead supply planning, purchasing, inventory management, and production planning in support of customer demand and operational goals.

This hands-on leader balances customer requirements with inventory levels, supplier lead times, and production capacity while coordinating with Fulfillment, Production, Sales, Engineering, Quality, and international partners.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related field (Supply Chain, Operations, Business, Engineering).
• 5+ years in supply chain, materials planning, purchasing, or production planning.
• Supervisory or management experience preferred.
• Strong understanding of MRP/ERP-based planning and inventory management.
• Experience with international suppliers or manufacturing locations desired.

Responsibilities

• Lead supply planning to ensure material and finished goods availability.
• Translate demand into purchasing and production plans.
• Manage purchase orders, delivery dates, shortages, and expediates.
• Maintain accurate supplier lead times and delivery dates in ERP.
• Coordinate with international manufacturing and supply partners.
• Monitor orders and forecast to identify shortages or risks.
• Develop safety stock levels based on demand and risk.
• Identify excess or obsolete inventory and take corrective actions.
• Support ATP and material availability analysis for reliable delivery information.
• Coordinate production planning and scheduling based on demand and capacity.
• Ensure customer orders have realistic delivery dates.
• Identify and communicate supply chain risks early.
• Develop KPIs for supplier delivery, inventory, and forecast coverage.
• Ensure ERP data accuracy for planning and purchasing.
• Analyze supply chain data using Excel and dashboards.
• Lead continuous improvement to reduce inventory and lead times.
• Document and maintain standard work and processes.
• Collaborate across departments to resolve delivery issues.
• Provide leadership and accountability within the team.
