Patterson-UTI Drilling Company, LLC is seeking a Supply Chain Manager to lead procurement, supplier management, material planning, forecasting, and MRP activities. You will supervise the Purchasing team and optimize SAP and ERP-driven processes to ensure material availability and cost efficiency across operations.

The role requires strong leadership, planning, analytical, and negotiation skills, with the ability to drive data-based decisions in a fast-paced manufacturing and service environment.

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain, operations, or a related field.
• Five years of progressively responsible experience in purchasing, procurement, supply chain, planning, or industrial service operations.
• Three or more years of leadership, supervision, or management experience within purchasing, planning, or supply chain.
• Experience using ERP systems within manufacturing or industrial environments.

Mansioni

• Lead the facility Purchasing team, including workload, priorities, performance, development, supplier follow-up, and policy compliance.
• Own material and supply planning activities, including MRP, forecasting, material requirements, shortage management, and procurement execution.
• Serve as the primary Supply Chain owner for material availability and ensure activities support Production and Field Service.
• Maintain effective use of the ERP and planning systems to support purchasing, material planning, supplier management, inventory visibility, reporting.
• Monitor material requirements, shortages, supplier commitments, excess supply, and planning exceptions; take corrective actions.
• Provide leadership for third-party planning or MRP resources and build internal capability.
• Develop a qualified, competitive supplier base through supplier development, qualification, audits, and cost-reduction initiatives.
• Manage supplier relationships and accountability for quality, cost, delivery, and lead times.
• Work with Quality to ensure supplier qualification and audits comply with API Q1 and ISO 9001 requirements.
• Lead negotiations, sourcing, and cost-reduction across materials, services, and related spend.
• Maintain visibility of shortages and supply risks and coordinate recovery actions with stakeholders.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to communicate material availability, forecast requirements, risks, and priorities.
• Establish and report Supply Chain KPIs and weekly management reporting.
• Use data to improve material availability, supplier performance, procurement efficiency, and cost.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and QMS requirements.
• Provide leadership and development for Supply Chain personnel.
