Job summary

The Pond Guy, a leading pond and water garden products company, seeks a Director of Supply Chain to drive end-to-end strategy across planning, purchasing, supplier management, and inventory. Reporting to the VP of Operations, you will lead S&OP, optimize inventory, and improve supplier performance while building a scalable, data-driven organization.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of progressive supply chain leadership across planning, procurement, inventory, supplier management, and logistics.
• Experience in demand planning, forecasting, S&OP processes.
• Experience leading strategic sourcing and supplier development.
• Advanced analytics and ERP proficiency.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
• Willingness to leverage AI to improve productivity.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the company's supply chain strategy to support growth and customer satisfaction.
• Lead planning, purchasing, supplier management, and inventory to enable scalable processes.
• Drive demand planning, forecasting, inventory optimization, and S&OP.
• Lead procurement and sourcing initiatives with supplier partnerships and risk mitigation.
• Develop logistics strategies focusing on freight costs, service levels, and efficiency.
• Establish and monitor supply chain performance metrics across departments.
• Collaborate with sales, marketing, finance, engineering, manufacturing, and distribution.
• Build and lead a high-performing supply chain team with accountability and continuous improvement.
