Job summary

The Pond Guy is seeking a Director of Supply Chain to lead end-to-end strategy across planning, purchasing, supplier management, and inventory. Reporting to the VP of Operations, you will partner with leaders across functions to drive S&OP, forecast accuracy, and supplier performance while building scalable, data-driven processes.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8+ years of progressive supply chain experience with leadership across planning, procurement, inventory, supplier management, and logistics.
• Experience improving demand planning, forecasting, S&OP processes, and inventory optimization.
• Strong analytical and data-driven decision-making abilities; proficient with ERP and analytics.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and business acumen; able to lead cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the company's end-to-end supply chain strategy to support growth and customer satisfaction.
• Lead planning, purchasing, supplier management, and inventory functions with scalable processes.
• Drive demand planning, forecasting, inventory optimization, and S&OP for product availability and cost control.
• Lead strategic sourcing, supplier negotiations, development, and risk mitigation.
• Develop and manage logistics strategies focusing on cost, service levels, and efficiency.
• Establish and monitor supply chain performance metrics to improve service and supplier performance.
• Collaborate with sales, marketing, finance, engineering, manufacturing, and distribution to drive cross-functional initiatives.
• Build and lead a high-performing supply chain team with a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
