Day & Zimmermann is seeking a seasoned Supply Chain professional to manage procurement, subcontracts and supplier solicitations in Texas. The role drives sourcing strategies, supplier negotiations and lifecycle oversight to ensure customer requirements and schedules are met.

The position requires a BA/BS with 5+ years in procurement or supply chain, strong SAP and MS Office skills, and leadership capability to mentor teams in a matrixed organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering or equivalent
• Minimum 5+ years experience in procurement/supply chain roles
• Strong knowledge of SAP and MS Office tools required

Responsabilités

• Develops and leads sourcing strategies to improve supply chain performance and drive process improvements
• Leads proposal efforts including procurement plan, supplier solicitations, negotiations and supplier quality verification
• Oversees procurement/subcontract lifecycle from RBL to closeout for munitions customers
• Reviews contractual terms to flow-down provisions and guides risk management and dispute resolution
• Leads and mentors staff, monitors performance and conducts reviews
• Maintains timely communication with Supply Chain and site management to mitigate schedule impacts
