Danfoss Power Solutions in Freeport, IL is hiring a Senior Manager, Supply Chain to interpret demands, plan schedules with vendors and internal teams, and lead a high-impact supply chain function onsite. The role combines strategic leadership with hands-on execution to optimize inventory, lead times, and fulfillment.

The ideal candidate will have a strong track record in supply chain leadership, experience with SAP and MS Office, and willingness to travel regionally and internationally.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in related discipline or equivalent experience.
• 7+ years of leadership experience in Supply Chain or related area.
• APICS certification or similar is highly desired.
• Proven leadership in strategy, budgeting, targets, people management and project management.
• Ability to work in a virtual and global matrixed environment.
• Excellent communication skills with multiple stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the FPT Supply Chain team.
• Coordinate with customers and suppliers to share demand and requirements.
• Develop and manage Customer Lead-Time and Fulfillment models.
• Develop and execute Distribution Strategy.
• Drive continuous improvement of Supply Chain processes with related functions.
• Participate in S&OP facilitation and ensure supply meets demand.
• Oversee production planning and tactical purchasing to meet customer demand.
• Monitor material flow from supplier to customer and manage inventory.
• Set KPI targets aligned with BU goals and report regularly.
• Collaborate with Product Management, Customer Service, and other functions to improve processes.
