Job summary

Hydro Extrusions in Phoenix is seeking a Plant Manager to ensure on-time delivery, minimize cost, and coordinate extrusion, fabrication, and scheduling across the site.

You will lead production planning, manage inventories, and align sales with manufacturing while building a safe, efficient operation. A BS degree and 8 years in industrial settings are expected, with English fluency required and Spanish helpful.

Qualifications

• 8 years of experience in an industrial environment.
• BS required; MA preferred.
• Strong interpersonal skills required.
• Strategic and analytical thought capability.
• Ability to define and document process flow mapping.
• Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations with limited standardization.
• Ability to read, analyze and write reports, business correspondence, specifications and procedures.
• Ability to interpret a variety of instructions, present information and respond to questions from managers and clients.
• Ability to understand variety of production and material methods to aid and direct improvement and training.
• Fully fluent in English; Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

• Own health, safety and environmental responsibilities and contribute to a safe workplace.
• Drive a safety culture as a top priority for all employees.
• Manufacturing planning and scheduling across Cast House, Extrusion and Fabrication.
• Coordinate production plans to meet customer demands and sales requirements.
• Oversee transportation and external shipments.
• Control sight-wide inventories and incoming metal.
• Ensure On-Time delivery systems for Operations.
• Other responsibilities as needed.
