Job summary

ACDi is seeking a Purchasing Manager to lead inventory control and purchasing across multiple manufacturing sites. You will supervise Buyers, support staff, and drive on-time production while optimizing spend and supplier performance.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years in contract manufacturing or electronics manufacturing, strong negotiation skills, and advanced Excel/Access skills to build data-driven insights and forecasting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and five (5) years of related experience in contract manufacturing
• Supervisory experience and strong people management skills
• Significant experience with inventory control, logistics, materials planning, supply chains, purchasing and negotiations
• Proficiency with inventory management systems and advanced Excel/Access

Responsibilities

• Manage a team of Buyers and supporting staff across multiple sites.
• Develop goals/metrics and track progress for professional development.
• Maintain inventory levels to ensure on-time production.
• Drive increased inventory turns and reduce waste.
• Explore new suppliers and processes to improve quality and cost.
• Provide data/metrics to leadership for decision making.
• Interface with Program Managers on planning and forecasts.
• Ensure company procedures are followed in materials functions.
