Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business or technical field.
• 15 years materials experience in a manufacturing environment.
• APICS training or certification is a strong plus.
• Customer service oriented and able to lead cross-functional teams.
• Understanding of contract rights and obligations related to purchasing.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategic objectives for materials management and growth.
• Monitor expenditures and optimize scheduling to maximize resources.
• Manage inventories using MRP/JIT and negotiate with suppliers for availability and pricing.
• Establish and maintain supplier partnerships for cost-effective material availability.
• Oversee periodic inventories and ensure accurate records across sites.
