Responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategic objectives, capacity status, constraints, and growth needs.
• Monitor and approve expenditures of assets and materials.
• Ensure effective scheduling to maximize resources and inventory.
• Manage and track inventories using MRP/JIT principles.
• Negotiate with suppliers for availability and fair pricing.
• Develop supplier partnerships for cost-effective material availability.
• Ensure proper use of material systems and accuracy verifications.
• Establish procedures to increase materials efficiency and asset utilization.
• Eliminate waste of materials, utilities, and manpower.
• Staff subordinate groups to operate with high accuracy and productivity.
• Coordinate with R&D and Sales for new materials and updates.
• Supervise periodic inventories to update perpetual records.
