Job summary

PENN Entertainment is seeking a Purchasing Supervisor to lead the Purchasing department, manage staff, and ensure cost-efficient procurement for one casino site. You’ll develop budgets, supervise schedules, and negotiate with vendors to secure optimal terms while maintaining regulatory compliance.

The role emphasizes leadership, strategic sourcing, and cross-functional collaboration to support our entertainment venues and total rewards culture.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in a four-year college or university required.
Five years’ experience in Purchasing with progressive responsibility.
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Access, Word, etc.).
Demonstrated ability to delegate and lead a team effectively.
Proficient in Stratton Warren or similar systems.
Strong negotiating skills.

Responsibilities

Supervise and manage staff in the Purchasing department.
Develop and manage operational goals; monitor performance and profit objectives.
Create effective schedules to control labor costs and meet deadlines.
Assist in the budget process; ensure compliance with budget initiatives.
Manage procurement and deliveries for one casino within the brand.
Support diversity spend initiatives and regulatory compliance.
Negotiate with vendors for goods and services; achieve best price and terms.
Identify new supply sources and evaluate quotes from vendors.
Promote exceptional customer service and uphold company standards.
