Job summary

POWR2, a Bethel, CT-based battery energy storage system manufacturer, seeks a hands-on Supply Chain Lead to own end-to-end procurement, planning and logistics. You will partner with finance and executive leadership to ensure reliable supply, cost control, and scalable operations as the business grows.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in supply chain management with logistics, procurement, inventory management.
• Hands-on ERP/MRP experience (SAP ERP, Oracle EBS or similar).
• Proficiency in data analysis tools including Power BI, Tableau, SQL.
• Knowledge of Lean manufacturing principles (Kaizen, Six Sigma) for process improvement.
• Strong analytical and communication skills; able to lead cross-functional change.
• Bachelor's degree; advanced certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Own supplier relationships across domestic and international vendors.
• Lead negotiations on pricing, lead times, and payment terms.
• Drive supplier accountability on delivery, quality, and responsiveness.
• Identify and onboard new suppliers to improve cost, reliability, and risk.
• Continuously evaluate and optimize the supplier base.
• Manage demand planning and material requirements to support production and project schedules.
• Maintain appropriate inventory levels and balance availability with working capital.
• Partner with operations to align supply with build schedules.
