Job summary

Amazon seeks a Senior Strategic Supply Chain Manager for the Home and Kitchen team to own inventory strategies for strategic product categories, collaborating with well-known brands to maximize product availability and drive profitable growth. You will use data analysis, SQL, Excel, and GenAI tools to turn large data sets into actionable insights that impact the P&L.

Qualifications

Minimum 5+ years of experience with Excel and data analysis.
Bachelor's degree or 5+ years professional or military experience.
Experience working with complex data sets.
Experience communicating results to senior leadership.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement inventory strategies that balance stock levels, accommodate demand fluctuations, and improve order fulfillment across assigned categories.
Analyze large data sets using SQL, Excel, and GenAI tools to identify trends and present recommendations to leadership.
Collaborate with vendors, monitor performance, and drive process improvements that increase confirmation rates and reduce inbound lead times.
Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Vendor, and Customer Service teams to clear blockers and deliver simplified solutions that improve product availability and cost structure.
Identify and mitigate long-term supply chain risks, making trade-offs between short-term and long-term needs to protect the customer experience.
