Job summary

Amazon is seeking a Strategic Supply Chain Manager for the Lawn & Garden + Tools Supply Chain Team in Seattle. You will own inventory sourcing strategies and end-to-end processes for a highly seasonal category, using data and AI-powered tools to improve supply chain performance and vendor collaboration.

You will present insights to Category leaders, balance cost targets with availability, and shape operational strategy for major vendor cohorts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 3+ years of professional or military experience.
• 4+ years of supply chain, inventory management or project management experience.
• 3+ years of program or project management experience.
• Experience in stakeholder management with multiple stakeholders at varied levels.

Responsibilities

• Identify and deliver end-to-end supply chain improvement opportunities across large cohorts of Lawn & Garden vendors, developing inventory sourcing strategies that meet cost targets and customer availability goals.
• Track and own category metrics such as out-of-stock rate, lead time, and confirmation rate, and present insights and trends to Category Leadership.
• Define operational strategy for select vendors, balancing suppliers, cost structures, and service levels to optimize profitability.
• Collaborate with vendor management and product managers on initiatives to improve cost structure, profitability, and supply chain efficiency.
• Build trusted relationships with retail vendors and partner on programs to improve inventory health and reduce costs.
