You will review supplier price lists, request quotes, and help communicate with vendors while gaining exposure to J.D. Edwards systems.

The role requires a rising undergraduate with a 3.0 GPA, willing to work full-time in summers and about 20 hours/week during the school year, with pay ranging from $18 to $37 per hour.

Qualifications

• Student working towards a Bachelor's degree with graduation May 2028 or later.
• GPA of 3.0 or greater.
• Willing to work full-time hours during summers and breaks, and around 20 hours per week during the school year.

Responsibilities

• Assist in Strategic Purchasing, Global Sourcing, and Operational duties within Defense Aftermarket.
• Review, transform, and upload supplier price lists.
• Send requests for quotes and gather information to request quotes from suppliers.
• Extract data from JDE/SAS and other divisions; download drawings.
• Communicate with vendors to solve problems through collaboration and negotiation.
• Consult with sales, accounting, finance, and engineers to ensure correct transfer of information.
• Maintain vendor accounts and gain personal vendor accounts after becoming comfortable with J.D. Edwards systems.
• Provide support to Buyers and Purchasing Agents in procurement of goods and services.
