Job summary

Granite City Electric Supply in Taunton, MA seeks a Director of Supply Chain to oversee inventory of over $60 million across 4 distribution centers and 30 service branches. Lead a team of 8 in Purchasing and Inventory Control; drive demand planning, vendor management, and analytics to improve service levels and fulfillment.

Compensation for this position is expected to be in the $130,000 or $140,000 range, commensurate with experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in related field.
• Significant experience in multi facility Supply Chain and Purchasing roles.
• Demonstrated skill in SKU stocking analysis and stock movement review.
• Extensive experience in demand planning and seasonal impacts.
• Experienced in vendor relations management and performance optimization.
• Hands-on leader developing team performance.
• Proficient in report development and data analytics.
• Wholesale Distribution experience is a plus.
• Entrepreneurial mindset and team player attitude.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accuracy and integrity of inventory across 4 distribution centers and 30 service branches.
• Lead a department of 8 staff in Purchasing and Inventory Control.
• Develop and implement metrics to support best-in-class service levels, quality and fulfillment.
• Manage dead and excess stock within policy standards and optimize processes.
• Collaborate with the COO and cross-functional teams to drive improvements.
