Job summary

AEVEX Corp. is seeking a Director of Supply Chain Management to lead procurement, strategic sourcing, and subcontract administration.

The role partners with executive leadership to drive supply chain excellence, governance, and scalable processes across programs, ensuring compliance with government contracting requirements. The candidate will develop strategies, manage supplier relationships, and lead continuous improvement in ERP/MRP systems, analytics, and performance metrics to support growth

Qualifications

• Extensive knowledge of FAR, DFARS, CPSR, TINA, CAS and government property rules.
• Proven ability to scale procurement organizations and govern supplier networks.
• Experience leading CPSRs, procurement compliance programs and audit readiness.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a comprehensive supply chain strategy aligned with growth objectives and regulatory requirements.
• Lead strategic sourcing initiatives focused on supplier diversification, competition, cost optimization, risk mitigation, and supply assurance.
• Establish procurement governance, policies, and controls to support compliance and scalability.
• Oversee subcontract administration, including source selection, negotiations, and contract management.
• Develop supplier segmentation and performance metrics to evaluate cost, quality, and delivery.
• Lead negotiations for strategic supplier agreements and master service contracts.
• Partner with Executive Leadership and cross-functional teams to align supply chain strategies with enterprise goals.
