Job summary

Amazon is seeking a Strategic Supply Chain Manager with a Network Capacity Background to own end-to-end operations within the supply chain network. You will drive capacity planning, logistics optimization, network design, and data-driven improvements across multiple business units.

You will collaborate with Business, Operations, Supply Chain, Product, and Finance teams to implement scalable systems, automate processes, and enhance efficiency while prioritizing customer-centric outcomes.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of program or project management experience.
• 3+ years of cross-functional collaboration with tech and non-tech teams.
• 3+ years of defining and implementing process improvement initiatives using data and metrics.
• 2+ years of supply chain experience.
• Bachelor's degree required.
• Advanced Excel (Pivot Tables, VLookups) and SQL knowledge.
• Experience defining program requirements using data and metrics.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategic initiatives related to network capacity within Amazon's various business units.
• Concentrate on optimizing and managing the flow of goods, information, or services within the supply chain network.
• Balance supply and demand; assess and improve efficiency of distribution networks, warehouses, or logistics operations.
• Analyze data to identify opportunities for operational improvements and customer experience enhancements in network capacity.
• Define metrics, develop program management mechanisms, and simplify processes to drive decision-making in complex network capacity scenarios.
• Collaborate with stakeholders across functions to influence and facilitate agreements on shared network capacity goals.
• Manage cross-functional network capacity initiatives; drive continuous improvement and lean practices at scale.
• Own portfolios of cross-functional programs related to network capacity and performance delivery.
• Identify and deliver operational improvements in inventory management, logistics strategy, and transportation optimization.
• Monitor and optimize key network capacity metrics to ensure smooth flow of goods across the network.
