Qualifications

• Associate degree or 2 years related experience or equivalent.
• Knowledge of purchasing and supply chain practices.
• NetSuite ERP experience is a plus.
• Strong interpersonal communication required.

Responsibilities

• Verifies material descriptions and specs on purchase requests.
• Uses reports to check inventory levels and order needs.
• Obtains prices, specs, and availability from suppliers; secures three bids.
• Creates invitations to bid and emails forms to suppliers.
• Prepares purchase orders and manages changes in ERP.
• Expedites deliveries by contacting suppliers as needed.
• Tracks progress with suppliers and coordinates with warehouse.
• Provides lead work direction to other buyers.
