Job summary

Chevron Phillips Chemical is seeking a Specialist – Business Analytics to join the Business Data Analytics team at The Woodlands, TX. You will drive data-driven decision making across Supply Chain by leveraging SAP data, Power BI analytics, and modern data platforms to support strategic initiatives.

The role partners with Supply Chain, IT, Finance, and vendors to translate requirements into scalable reports, dashboards, and models, enabling self-service analytics, forecasting, and performance

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Business Analytics, Information Systems, Engineering, Finance, Data Science, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in Supply Chain Analytics, BI, or Data Analytics.
• Strong experience with SAP ERP data and SCM processes (Materials Management, SD, PP, Inventory, Logistics).
• Advanced Power BI expertise including data modeling and DAX.
• Strong SQL skills with enterprise databases and data warehouses.
• Experience building scalable reporting and analytics solutions using modern data architectures.
• Proven ability to influence stakeholders and drive business process improvements through analytics.
• Strong communication, presentation, and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a subject matter expert in Supply Chain analytics to improve planning, logistics, inventory, and customer service.
• Analyze large datasets from SAP and other systems to identify trends and inefficiencies.
• Design, develop, and maintain enterprise Power BI dashboards, reports, and KPI scorecards.
• Collaborate with Supply Chain, IT, Finance, and vendors to integrate data across platforms.
• Translate business requirements into scalable analytical and reporting solutions.
• Support budgeting, strategic planning, and forecasting through data analysis.
• Develop and maintain semantic and data models for self-service analytics.
• Drive automation, process optimization, and digital transformation initiatives.
• Ensure data quality, governance, and consistency across reporting.
• Present findings and recommendations to leadership with visualizations.
