Job summary

Heartland Food Products Group in Indianapolis, IN is seeking a Supply Chain Analyst to ensure 100% product availability and on-time delivery. The role collaborates across production, procurement, customer service, and transportation to resolve supply and capacity gaps.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s in Operations/Strategic Planning and at least 5 years of planning experience with MRP, S&OP, and finite capacity modeling. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and SYSPRO is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Operations, Strategic Planning, or related technical area is required.
• 5 years of planning experience including demand planning, capacity constraints, and MRP.
• High level understanding of S&OP, finite capacity modeling, and Master Production Scheduling.
• Strong analytical and math proficiency; must work well with others.

Responsibilities

• Develop long-term analytical and tactical reviews of production capacities.
• Collaborate with production, procurement, customer service, and transportation to resolve supply, demand, material, and capacity disconnects.
• Develop and implement strategies to decrease working capital through inventory reductions and cost improvements.
• Coordinate and implement new item launch strategies across multiple systems.
• Coach, mentor or support Production Planning roles.
