Job summary

Amy's Kitchen is seeking a Supplier Quality Specialist to safeguard the quality and safety of raw materials across multiple categories. You will collaborate with Sourcing, Manufacturing, Legal, Regulatory Affairs, and Culinary teams to address issues, manage audits, and drive supplier performance.

Responsibilities include approving material specifications, conducting audits, implementing CAPAs, and supporting production with on-site quality assurance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree (Sciences preferred, Food Science/Technology ideal).
• One to five years relevant experience and/or training.
• ASQ Certified Quality Auditor certification preferred
• HACCP knowledge and GMP awareness

Responsibilities

• Act as technical resource researching raw materials and supplier constraints.
• Plan, prepare and execute supplier audits.
• Approve raw material specifications including sensory, functionality and safety requirements.
• Monitor supplier performance and maintain quality metrics.
• Lead supplier corrective actions and drive continuous improvement.
• Maintain relationships with supplier and internal stakeholders.
• On-site supplier support during production runs.
• Travel up to 25–50%.
