Job summary

Leviton is seeking a Senior Supplier Quality Engineer to ensure quality and performance across the supply chain. You will collaborate with buyers, engineers, and manufacturing to qualify new suppliers and manage existing materials.

You will drive supplier performance through data analysis, root cause investigations, corrective actions, and supplier development initiatives, while supporting product quality and operational excellence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Material Science or related engineering field.
• Strong knowledge of ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems.
• Experience with supplier quality management and audits.
• Experience with FAI, PPAP, APQP, and quality system processes.
• Experience with ERP systems, preferably Oracle EBS.

Responsibilities

• Drive supplier quality performance to meet quality, delivery, and reliability metrics.
• Lead complex supplier quality investigations using 8D and root cause analysis.
• Develop supplier quality relationships and conduct site visits.
• Provide quality leadership for new product and design changes with qualification and FAI.
• Audit supplier quality systems and processes; perform on-site inspections.
• Collaborate to establish inspection strategies and quality control plans.
• Lead supplier development initiatives using Lean, Six Sigma, and Poka-Yoke.
