Job summary

Edwards Vacuum seeks a supplier quality specialist to manage supplier performance and drive corrective actions in a high‑tech manufacturing setting. You will lead root cause analysis, maintain the Approved Supplier List, and guide supplier readiness to ensure ISO 9001 compliance.

The role emphasizes SCAR governance, supplier audits, and proactive risk mitigation across the supply base, supporting continuous improvement and cost reduction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in engineering, quality or related field.
• 5+ years of experience across multiple quality functions in a process-driven manufacturing environment.
• Strong analytical and technical skills for manufacturing processes and quality initiatives.
• Experience with APQP, PPAP and supplier qualification processes for new product introduction.
• Experience conducting supplier audits (process, system, product) and assessing capability, risk, and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Ensure conforming material supply by managing supplier quality performance and corrective actions.
• Maintain Approved Supplier List and develop supplier capability to meet ISO 9001 requirements.
• Lead containment, root cause analysis (8D), and corrective actions to resolve supplier nonconformances.
• Own the SCAR process to ensure timely closure and high effectiveness.
• Conduct on-site supplier quality patrols to verify process adherence and close findings.
